This blog has been created to encourage and support learning for the sisters of the Hinesville Ward. Literacy is a lifelong process that is essential for our eternal progress. Relief Society sisters are encouraged to seek learning—both spiritual and temporal. When sisters have literacy skills, it is easier for them to worship, learn, and teach. As a woman seeks learning for herself and her family, she then naturally desires it for others.
May's 'Quote of the Month'
"Those in need are expected to do all they can to provide for themselves. Then families are expected to assist in taking care of their less-fortunate members. And then the resources of the Church are made available." Gordon B. Hinckley, "I Was an Hungred, and Ye Gave Me Meat, Ensign," May 2004, 57
